Ludogorets winger Bernard Tekpetey has been excluded from Otto Addo’s 29-man squad for the September friendlies.
This decision comes as a huge shock following the impressive start from the Shalke 04 man in the Bulgarian top-flight this season.
Tekpetey has scored five goals in seven league games so far and is deemed a key player for a side that has secured qualification to the UEFA Europa League.
It adds up to a series of snubs made with regards to the forward in the last few years, despite his excellent run of form at the club level.
He will hope to make the next cut.
