Officials of Turkish giants Besiktas have held preliminary talks with Ghanaian defender Alexander Djiku over a possible summer transfer.
Djiku’s contract with Strasbourg expires on June 30, 2023 and he is bent on seeking a challenge abroad.
Besiktas are ready to swoop for him and officials of the club met the Ghanaian international and his agent in France for discussions in midweek.
The player however wants the season to end before he takes a concrete decision on his future.
Trabzonspor as well as TSG Hoffenheim are the other teams who have showed interest in the 28-year-old guardsman.
Djiku has made 29 Ligue 1 appearances for Strasbourg this season scoring one goal and providing 1 assist.
