Mohammed Abdul Rahaman scored the opening goal of the match to put the hosts 1-0 up halfway through the opening 45 minutes of the match with a cool strike.
Former Accra Hearts of Oak SC player Abdul Manaf Umar scored in the additional time period of the match to make it 2-0 at full time for the club as they enjoyed their first win in three matches.
The league leaders will make a short trip to Sunyani to face Bofoakwa Tano FC whiles Real Tamale United FC hosts Dreams FC at the Aliu Mahama Stadium in Tamale.
