Big Blow: Tariq Lamptey out of Ghana – Madagascar clash

Brighton and Hove Albion youngster Tariq Lamptey has been left out of the 24-man squad of the Black Stars team for the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

The English Premier League star has been ruled out of the game due to injury and will not face Madagascar in Antananarivo in Madagascar on June 18.

He played for Ghana at the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar where Ghana finished last in the group.

The Black Stars Coach has selected a 24-player group for the trip to Antananarivo on Sunday, June 18, 2023.
