Birmingham City have reportedly reached an agreement with Belgian club Union Saint-Gilloise to sign Ghanaian forward Mohammed Fuseini on a season-long loan, with an option to make the move permanent.
According to Flashscore, the 24-year-old is expected to undergo his medical today as Birmingham move closer to completing the deal.
Fuseini attracted interest from several clubs, including French sides Troyes and Lorient, as well as fellow English Championship outfit Derby County, but Birmingham appear to have won the race for his signature.
The versatile attacker is expected to bolster Birmingham City’s attacking options as the club looks to strengthen its squad for the remainder of the season.
A successful medical is expected to pave the way for the official announcement, with Fuseini set to begin a new chapter in English football after his spell in Belgium.
