Black Galaxies head coach Didi Dramani is considering a late call-up for Asante Kotoko striker Albert Amoah ahead of the crucial CHAN qualifiers against Nigeria.
Amoah, 22, has been in sensational form during the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season, quickly establishing himself as one of the league’s top strikers. Since joining the Porcupine Warriors, the former Great Olympics forward has netted six goals, earning widespread praise for his sharp finishing and consistent performances.
Coach Dramani has reportedly been monitoring Amoah’s exploits closely and was particularly impressed by his recent brace in Kotoko’s 2-0 victory over Future Stars in the FA Cup Round of 32.
As the Black Galaxies prepare for their two-legged tie against Nigeria in the 2025 CHAN qualifiers this December, Dramani is keen to assemble the best local talents to ensure Ghana’s qualification for the prestigious tournament.
Sources indicate the coach is a fan of Amoah’s goal-scoring instincts and believes the striker’s inclusion could strengthen the team’s attacking options.
The high-stakes qualifiers promise to be a stern test, but the addition of in-form players like Amoah could boost the Black Galaxies’ chances of success.
