Danish Superliga club Aalborg BK has officially announced the signing of Ghanaian winger Gabriel Quartey on a four-year contract. The deal will commence on January 14, 2025, coinciding with Quartey’s 18th birthday.
In a statement released by the club, Aalborg confirmed the agreement, stating, “AaB has made a four-year deal with offensive winger Gabriel Quartey. The contract applies from 14 January 2025, when Gabriel Quartey turns 18.”
Speaking about the club’s newest acquisition, Aalborg sporting director James Gow expressed excitement over Quartey’s potential and highlighted the club’s commitment to nurturing his talent. “Gabriel Quartey has shown himself well in training with both the Superliga squad and the U/19 League team, and we can see some top skills that he can hopefully further develop and display in the coming years in AaB,” Gow remarked.
He also praised Quartey’s attributes as a player, adding, “As a player, Gabriel is fast and mobile, and he is skilled one on one and can finish with both feet.”
