Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, has urged Ghanaians to show their support for the team ahead of their crucial match against Nigeria in the 2024 African Nations Championships (CHAN) qualifiers.
Ghana will face their rivals, Nigeria, at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, December 21.
Speaking to the media ahead of the game, Dramani emphasized the significance of fan backing. “The fans should come in their numbers and support us,” he said.
Dramani expressed confidence in his team’s readiness, adding, “We are fully ready for Sunday and ready for the game. Technically, tactically, and well-oriented, we will continue to refine our strategies and make adjustments as needed.”
The return leg will be played in Nigeria the following week.
This will mark the second consecutive year that the Black Galaxies will meet Nigeria in the playoff round. Two years ago, Ghana triumphed over Nigeria in a penalty shootout to secure a place in the last edition of the CHAN tournament, though they were eliminated in the quarterfinals.
The 2024 CHAN tournament will be co-hosted by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
