Former Black Stars player, Yaw Preko, believes the experience on the technical bench of the Black Galaxies is good enough to advance past Nigeria to play at the CHAN tournament.
The Black Galaxies are headed by Annor Walker, with support from former Asante Kotoko head coach, Prosper Ogum Narteh and Karela gaffer, Kofi Mensah.
In three games played during the qualifies, which includes a 2-0 win over Nigeria in Cape Coast, Ghana is yet to lose or draw a game.
Ahead of the second leg game against the Super Eagles B, Preko, who worked as an assistant to Walker at Olympics, says he is optimistic the team will qualify for next year’s competition.
“They [Black Galaxies] have a very good trainer [in Annor Walker] and a good technical team so I am not scared,” said.
“They managed to get two goals [in the first leg] which is good.”
The game with Nigeria is scheduled for Saturday, September 3, in Abuja.
