Former Ghana international, Yaw Preko, has tipped the Black Galaxies to qualify for the 2023 CHAN tournament ahead of Nigeria.
The two teams will meet again on Saturday, September 3, for the return league of the final round of qualifiers for the competition to be held in Algeria.
The Galaxies took a two-goal lead heading into the reverse fixture and Preko has charged the boys to make it to the tournament ahead of the Super Eagles B.
“Nigerians are not better than us in terms of football so I don’t see the reason why we have to be afraid,” he noted.
“I coached in Nigeria for a season. They are not better than us. That is the time we beat them in the WAFU [tournament] in Cape Coast. We have what it takes.”
Annor Walker will look to guide his men to a return to the continental competition after a long absence.
