Ghana’s Black Princesses have arrived in Johannesburg with their full squad of twenty players, accompanied by the technical team, as they prepare for the second leg of their FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifier against South Africa. The first leg, played last Sunday in Accra, ended in a 2-2 draw, leaving the tie finely poised ahead of Saturday’s decisive match.

The team’s arrival in South Africa marks the beginning of an intensive preparation period. Coaches and support staff are expected to oversee training sessions aimed at refining tactics, improving cohesion, and addressing areas identified in the first-leg encounter.

The coaching team has emphasized the importance of maintaining focus and composure, particularly in an away stadium where the Black Princesses will face the challenge of hostile crowds and unfamiliar conditions.

The 2-2 draw in Accra has given the Ghanaian side both confidence and motivation. While the team demonstrated attacking prowess and resilience, the coaching staff is determined to ensure the players capitalize on every opportunity and remain solid defensively in Johannesburg. The squad’s leadership believes that with discipline, teamwork, and tactical awareness, the Black Princesses can secure a result that will book their place in the next stage of the tournament.

The match has already captured the attention of fans in both countries, with expectations high on both sides. For the young Ghanaian talents, this qualifier represents not only a chance to progress in the World Cup but also an opportunity to gain valuable international experience on a stage that showcases future stars of women’s football.

With determination running high and preparations underway, the Black Princesses are set to face South Africa this Saturday with the aim of delivering a strong performance that could see them take the next step toward the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
