Ghana’s U-17 national team, the Black Starlets, have safely arrived in Ivory Coast ahead of their upcoming double-header friendly matches against the Young Elephants.
The team left Ghana at 13:30 GMT and landed in Abidjan about an hour later, marking the next stage of their build-up to the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.
The travelling contingent, which includes players, coaches, and management members, is expected to continue to Ebimpe, where both fixtures will be staged at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium.
The matches, set for April 28 and May 1, will give the Black Starlets a valuable chance to measure their strength against a competitive Ivorian side as they step up preparations for the continental tournament.
With the squad now settled, attention turns to training and tactical fine-tuning, as the technical team works to sharpen performance levels ahead of the crucial encounters.
