Ghanaian forward Benjamin Tetteh will be out for ‘four to six weeks’ with a hamstring injury, Sportsworldghana.com can confirm.

This has been confirmed in the wake of his inclusion to the 29-man squad named by Otto Addo for the friendlies in September.

Tetteh was snapped up by Hull City during the summer transfer window, and has recorded two assists in eight appearances so far.

The 25-year-old was added to the strikers list alongside Felix Afena-Gyan and Iñaki Williams but looks destined to be out of contention for his nation.

His inclusion to the squad caused a stir among fans who were of the view that he was injured and shouldn’t have been added.

It has been confirmed now that he will likely play no part in the team this September, and Otto Addo would have to find an immediate replacement for him.

Ghana will face Brazil on 23rd September, 2022 and face Nicaragua four days later.
