Former Ghana star Prince Tagoe is hopeful for a successful World Cup tournament in Qatar next month despite the poor form of Ghana.
The former Accra Hearts of Oak SC striker says AFC Ajax Amsterdam star Mohammed Kudus is one of Ghana’s best talent and must perform at the Mundial if we’re to make impact.
He also mentioned Germany Bundesliga side SC Freiburg player Daniel Kofi Kyereh as one of the three players who must give their all for Ghana’s success.
In conclusion, the former TSG Hoffenheim man said Jordan Ayew of English Premier League side Crystal Palace together with the two players mentioned above would determined Ghana’s fate at the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar.
However, the former Hearts of Oak striker believes with Mohammed Kudus, Jordan Ayew, and Daniel-Kofi Kyereh at their best will help the Stars excel.
“Black Stars can only make a positive impact at the World Cup if Kudus Mohammed, Jordan Ayew, and Daniel Kofi-Kyereh can give Ghana 80% of their performance at club level,” he said on Angel TV.
Ghana hopes to advance from Group H, which includes Portugal, South Korea, and Uruguay.
Ghana will open their tournament campaign against Portugal on November 24, followed by South Korea four days later, and Uruguay on December 2.
