Black Stars deputy captain, Richard Ofori kept a clean sheet in Orlando Pirates FC impressive win over JS Sauora in the penultimate CAF Champions League group game in Algeria.
The 26-year-old produced a wonderful performance in the game to help his side secure a vital away win which sealed their qualification into the next round.
Ofori played the entire duration of the match and kept his second consecutive clean sheets in the competition since his return from injury.
He is expected to be in the Ghana squad for the crucial 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against the Super Eagles of Nigeria this Friday in Kumasi and the return leg in Abuja four days later.
He was Ghana’s first choice goalkeeper at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations tournament and remained the preferred goalkeeper for the Black Stars until his injury.
