Black Stars team doctor Prince Pambo has visited defender Mohammed Salisu in Monaco to show support as Ghana prepares for the FIFA World Cup in June.
The visit forms part of efforts by the national team’s medical department to keep close contact with injured players and monitor their recovery ahead of the global tournament.
Salisu, who plays for AS Monaco, is currently undergoing rehabilitation after suffering an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury. The injury happened in January during a French Ligue 1 match against Olympique Lyon.
The defender remains an important member of the Black Stars squad, and the technical team will be hoping he recovers in time to boost Ghana’s chances at the World Cup.
