Ghana international Kingsley Schindler has officially completed his move to Turkish club, Yılport Samsunspor. The versatile midfielder finalized the deal on Wednesday, July 26.
In an announcement from Samsunspor, it was revealed that Schindler has signed a two-year contract with the option for an additional year extension.
The club expressed their excitement over the signing, stating, “Our club has signed a 2+1 year contract with the talented right-wing midfielder, Kingsley Schindler, from the Ghana National Team, who previously played for 1st FC Köln.”
Samsunspor also extended their best wishes to the new addition ahead of the upcoming 2023/24 football season, expressing their hopes for success on both an individual and team level.
Schindler, 30, brings a wealth of experience from his time in the German top-tier and lower leagues. He is expected to play a vital role for his new club as they gear up for the new Turkish Super Lig campaign.
