Ghana new boy Antoine Semenyo made an injury return to feature in Bristol City’s 1-1 draw against Peterborough United on Saturday afternoon in the EFL Sky Bet Championship.
The 22-year-old, who has been blighted by trifling injuries after his wonderful start to the year, has been missing in action since suffering a knee injury last month.
Robert Atkinson scored first for Bristol City in the 43rd minute but Jonson Clarke-Harris scored fice minute from full time to draw the game for two sides.
The promising attacker missed the opportunity to make his debut for Ghana in the recent World Cup play-offs due to the knee injury he suffered against West Bromwich Albion and would hope to keep fit ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Semenyo has netted six goals and 8 assists in 25 appearances for Bristol City in the English second tier.
He was adjudged Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month for January following his impressive performance for Bristol City.
The 22-year-old has been out of action since suffering a knee injury in a Championship match against West Bromwich Albion last month.
Semenyo was expected to be part of the Ghana squad that face Nigeria in the 2022 FIFA World Cup final qualifying round against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
