Ghana attacker Richmond Boakye Yiadom maintained his impressive form as he scored in Beitar Jerusalem’s 2-1 win over Maccabi Petah Tikva in the Israeli top-flight on Sunday.
Beitar had to come from behind to record a 2-1 win over Maccabi Petah Tikva in the crucial game.
The former Red Star Belgrade striker was introduced to the game in the 54th minute to help his team back snatch all points in the game.
Ion Nicolaescu opened the scoring in the 36th minute for Maccabi Petah Tikva as the visitors went into the break with a one nil lead,
After recess, the Black Stars striker was introduced into the game for Beitar Jerusalem.
Adi Tamir got the equalizer for Beitar Jerusalem in the 69th minute.
The home side dominated play after getting the equalizer and were rewarded with a goal in the 76th minute which was scored by Richmond Boakye Yiadom.
Boakye-Yiadom, 28, has so far netted four goals in the ongoing campaign.
