Black Stars forward Antoine Semenyo has reportedly raised concerns about goalkeeper Ati-Zigi’s anticipation during penalty situations.
During a training session ahead of the World Cup, the Manchester City attacker and former Bournemouth player told the shot-stopper after scoring five out of five penalties “You are diving really early,” suggesting that the goalkeeper needs to improve his timing when facing penalties. The striker took all the penalties with precision leaving the goal kepper in awe.
The Black Stars are currently intensifying preparations, focusing on set pieces and penalty drills as they gear up for their opening World Cup match against Panama on June 17.
The team is expected to sharpen both attacking and defensive execution as they aim for a strong start to their campaign.
