Blue Bartlett-Antwi was handed a starting role for RBFC Women in their first home fixture of the 2026/27 season as they suffered a 4-1 defeat to Fulham FC Women.
The Ghanaian defender was named in the starting XI and featured from the opening whistle as RBFC Women faced a difficult test against a strong Fulham side.
Bartlett-Antwi also came close to making a telling contribution in front of goal after connecting with a corner kick inside the penalty area. Her header, however, narrowly missed the target and landed on the roof of the net.
The opportunity highlighted the defender’s ability to provide an attacking threat from set pieces, even as her side struggled to contain Fulham’s attacking pressure.
Despite the disappointing result, Bartlett-Antwi’s inclusion in the starting lineup provides another valuable opportunity for the Ghanaian to gain experience and establish herself as an important member of the RBFC Women squad.
RBFC Women will now turn their attention to their next fixture, hoping to bounce back from the defeat, while Bartlett-Antwi will be looking to maintain her place in the team and continue developing her performances throughout the 2026/27 campaign.
Another Ghanaian talent making her mark abroad.
