Ghanaian midfielder Imani Kissi played the full game for Howard University Women’s Soccer as they battled to a 1-1 draw against Hampton at Audi Field during the HBCU Invitational.
Kissi was involved throughout the encounter, completing the entire match as Howard fought for a positive result in a closely contested fixture.
The Ghanaian midfielder also showed her attacking intent, registering three shots, with one effort finding the target as Howard looked to break through Hampton’s defence.
Despite both sides creating opportunities, neither team could find the decisive goal, with the points eventually shared after an entertaining contest.
Kissi’s full-match involvement and attacking contribution underline her importance to the Howard University side as the season progresses. The Ghanaian will now look to build on the performance and continue making an impact at the collegiate level.
