Young forward Ephraim Yeboah delivered a dramatic late performance to inspire Bristol City U21 to a thrilling 2–1 comeback victory over Charlton Athletic U21 in the Professional Development League.

The 19-year-old centre-forward emerged as the hero of the match after scoring two late goals in the 79th and 88th minutes, turning the game on its head after Charlton’s U21 side had taken the lead earlier in the second half.

Charlton looked to be in control of the contest when they found the breakthrough in the 70th minute, putting themselves ahead and appearing on course to secure all three points. However, the momentum of the match shifted dramatically as Bristol City pushed forward in search of an equaliser.

That turning point arrived in the 79th minute, when Ephraim Yeboah showed great striker’s instinct inside the penalty area to find the back of the net and bring Bristol City U21 level. The goal lifted his team and reignited their belief as they began pressing for a late winner.

With the match approaching its final stages, Yeboah stepped up once again. In the 88th minute, the talented striker struck for the second time, completing his brace and sealing a memorable comeback for his side. His late intervention not only secured a 2–1 victory but also highlighted his ability to deliver in crucial moments.

Yeboah’s performance demonstrated the qualities that make him such a promising attacking prospect — sharp movement, composure in front of goal, and the determination to keep pushing until the final whistle. His decisive brace proved to be the difference on the night as Bristol City U21 walked away with a hard-fought win.

The impressive display adds another highlight to the young striker’s development as he continues to grow and make an impact at the youth level with Bristol City.
