The Ghana Football Association have appointed former Ghana star Ibrahim Tanko as the head coach for the national U-23 team.
He was in charge of the team in 2019 in Egypt when the Black Meteors finished fourth and missed out on the 2020 Tokyo Olimpics Games.
He recently guided Accra Lions FC to safety in the Ghana Premier League as the technical director of the club in their first season in the top-flight league.
