Everton are on the heels of English-born Ghanaian defender Tariq Lamptey agead of the impending Summer transfer window.
The “Toffees” are looking for a long term replacement for Seamus Coleman who is getting to the twilight of his career and Sportsworldghana.com understands that manager Carlo Ancelotti has set his sight on Tariq Lamptey.
An official approach was made by Everton on Monday for the possible services of the 20-year-old in June but Brighton & Hove Albion are ready to let him move for not less than 30m Pounds.
Lamptey recently signed a contract extension with the “Seagulls” until 2025 as interest in him from various clubs in and outside England continues to grow.
He is also been courted by Bayer Munich, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspurs.
