Bulgarian football powerhouse Levski Sofia has successfully finalized the signing of Ghanaian midfielder Carlos Ohene during the ongoing transfer window.
The 30-year-old midfielder, previously with fellow Bulgarian club Hebar Pazardzhik, has inked an 18-month contract with Levski Sofia, setting the stage for his contributions to the team as they gear up for the league’s resumption in February.
Carlos Ohene is anticipated to play a pivotal role in Levski Sofia’s quest to finish the campaign in a commendable position. Currently, he has joined his new teammates in Belek, actively participating in preparations for the upcoming league fixtures. Ohene had the opportunity to observe his side in a friendly match against Bosnian team FC Tuzla City.
With extensive experience in Eastern European football, the defensive midfielder has previously showcased his skills with clubs such as Aiki Larnaca and AEL Limassol in Cyprus. He has also been part of Bulgarian teams like Beroe, CSKA 1948, and Tsarsko Selo.
Notably, Carlos Ohene becomes the second player in Levski Sofia’s 110-year history to make a transfer from Hebar. As he embarks on this new chapter, he is set to don the number 8 jersey for the club.
