Burkina Faso were not expected by many to reach this level of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations bu the Stallions have have been proving a lot of people wrong having defeated Tunisia to reach the semi-finals.

Burkina Faso head coach Kamou Malo, in view of the current events in Burkina Faso, knows that these are moments that allow the people to unite a little more and forget their difficulties.

It is to be recalled that the military regained power in this country and suspended the constitutional order.

“We dedicate this qualification to the people of Burkina Faso. Our national team is a reflection of our people. We will stay standing no matter what” he said.

“I am a novice in this competition, it is my first CAN and I find myself in the last four. This is the result of a staff that works hand in hand. Allow me to dedicate this victory to our people who are going through somewhat complicated times, even if the situation is stable. Our team is a reflection of our working people. We have completed a mission, what follows is a bonus but I think we can go to the end, we will bravely play our luck.

“These players were never afraid of anything. It’s a group that lives well, it’s solidarity, you’ve seen, even on the bench how the players are with others
