Dreams FC, participants in the CAF Confederations Cup, have returned to Ghana following the initial leg of their match against Guinea’s Milo FC.
The squad, known as the Still Believe lads, arrived at the Kotoko International Airport on Sunday evening and will proceed to their training camp in Ghana to commence preparations for the upcoming weekend’s second leg fixture.
After a 1-1 draw against Milo FC in Guinea on Saturday, the winners of the FA Cup will approach the second leg with an advantageous position.
In the 29th minute, the Ghana Premier League team broke the deadlock when Gael Aholou scored from close range, giving them a lead going into halftime.
The host’s performance improved, resulting in them securing the equalizer just minutes before full time. Milo FC managed to score in the 81st minute, resulting in a 1-1 conclusion to the match.
Dreams FC is set to host Milo FC at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, August 27 for the return leg.
