Dreams FC, the Ghanaian side, displayed a strong performance against Milo FC in the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round in Conakry on August 19, 2023.
As the champions of the Ghana FA Cup, Dreams FC traveled to Guinea to face Milo FC in the first leg of the first stage of the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round.
Dreams FC had a solid first half, controlling the game and taking the lead through Gael Aholou.
However, Milo FC came back strong in the second half and managed to equalize, resulting in a 1-1 draw.
This result has given Dreams FC a great deal of confidence as they head into the reverse fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium on August 27, 2023.
The winner of this tie will go on to face AC Horoya, a strong team from Guinea, in the final stage of the preliminary round before potentially reaching the group stage of the competition.
