Abdul Karim Zito, the coach of Dreams FC, expressed his satisfaction with the draw against Milo FC de Kankan of Guinea, considering it to be a fair outcome.
The Ghana Premier League side, Dreams FC, will be facing off against Milo FC de Kankan from Guinea in the first preliminary round of the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup.
Dreams FC earned their spot in the CAF Confederation Cup after winning the MTN FA Cup by defeating King Faisal. They are scheduled to play the first leg in Guinea before hosting Milo FC in Accra.
The first preliminary round matches are set for the weekend of 18th to 20th August for the first leg, and 25th to 27th August for the second leg.
Regarding the draw, Coach Karim Zito shared his thoughts, stating, “It is a fair draw the reason why I am saying it is a fair draw is this is my first day of hearing Milo FC from Guinea. And then Dreams FC is another young club when I was playing football we didn’t know Milo FC,” he told Peace FM.
He further mentioned his experience with Kotoko in Guinea, explaining, “So I have also been to Guinea with Kotoko it is like the noted clubs we know them that is not what we have met,”
We have met Milo they might be young but huge the name will be small because every team who will reach this stage is not underrated but in terms of the names when it comes to African football clubs we don’t know their age I know Dreams age,”
In summary, Karim Zito conveyed his contentment with the draw, acknowledging that while Milo FC might be less known, they are undoubtedly a strong and worthy opponent, making it an interesting matchup for Dreams FC.
