Dreams FC coach Abdul Karim Zito expressed his delight after his team’s impressive performance in the CAF Confederation Cup.
The Still Believe lads secured a commanding 4-0 win over Academica do Lobito at the Baba Yara Stadium. Agyenim Boateng initiated the scoring, followed by an own goal, and a remarkable goal from teenage prodigy Abdul Aziz Issah.
Zito acknowledged the stoppable nature of the goals against his team and emphasized the focus on defense during the game.
“All goals scored against us were stoppable, my players are very young in this stage of the competition so I to talk to them well and cautioned against conceding any foolish goal, thankfully, they lived to expectations”
“Whiles we were leading, I was more focus on the defense. I think we have achieved our objective so I’m okay” he said after the game.
With this win, Dreams FC leads Group A with nine points in their debut CAF Confederation Cup campaign.
