ES Tunis and Mamelodi Sundowns are set to clash in Rades for the first leg of the CAF Champions League semi-final.
The winner will face TP Mazembe or Al Ahly in the final. ES Tunis, having reached their second consecutive semi-final and their third in four seasons, seek to reclaim the title they last held between 2017 and 2019.
They finished second in their group with 11 points and advanced to the semi-finals after a penalty shootout win against ASEC. Despite a goal drought, they remain undefeated in four home games this season.
Mamelodi Sundowns, also in their second consecutive semi-final, aim to secure their second-ever title after their triumph in 2015-16. They topped their group with 13 points and boast an unbeaten streak in the South African PSL.
Their defense has been solid, not conceding a goal in their last six matches. However, like ES Tunis, they’ve struggled to find the net recently. Both teams will seek an advantage in the first leg to carry into the return fixture.
