Medeama Sporting Club’s head coach, Augustine Evans Adotey, has revealed his strategy to thwart Al Ahly in their upcoming CAF Champions League match.
Adotey plans to frustrate the African giants, aiming to disrupt their preferred style of play.
Speaking at a pre-match press conference on Friday, Coach Evans Adotey expressed confidence in his approach, analyzing Al Ahly’s formation, system, and tactics.
He emphasized his awareness of the opponent’s eagerness to win but assured that he has a secret plan to frustrate Al Ahly and secure a positive result for his team.
“Nothing threatens me. I’m one coach I would like to see Al Ahly fans packed to capacity on the field of play. I’m looking at the formational play of Al Ahly, their system of play, and I’m looking at their tactics.”
“I have an idea of how they will approach the game and I know how eager they are to win the game tomorrow. I also have my secret under my sleeves just to frustrate Al Ahly to ensure that I go back home to Ghana with a positive result,” Coach Evans Adotey said on Friday.
The much-anticipated game between Al Ahly and Medeama Sporting Club is scheduled for Saturday, November 25, with a 7 pm kickoff at the Al Salam Stadium in Cairo.
