The Ghana FA Cup champions are set to face Club Africain and are earnestly pursuing positive results in their inaugural group stage appearance.
In an unprecedented achievement for the club, the Still Believe lads earned their place in the group stage by overcoming the challenges posed by Milo FC and Kallon FC in the preliminary round. Notably, Dreams FC secured victory against Milo FC from Guinea with a 2-1 win at home after drawing 1-1 in the first leg. Similarly, they maintained their 2-1 lead from the first leg against Sierra Leone’s Kallon FC, resulting in a 1-1 draw in the return fixture.
As they step into the group phase of the Confederations Cup, Dreams FC finds themselves in Group C. Alongside the clash with Club Africain, they will also contend with Academica do Lobito and Rivers United in their quest for success in this prestigious continental competition.
