Rivers came from behind to beat Dreams FC of Ghana. Abdul Aziz Issah scored the first goal for the Ghanaians. Deputy Echeta and Godswill Kazie scored in the second half to record a 2-1 win for Rivers over Dreams.
Club Africain in Tunisia failed to beat the whipping boys of Group C as they drew 1-1 against the Angolan minnows Academica Lobito

Diables Noir of Congo played a goalless draw against South African side Sekhunkhune in Congo. The Congolese side won just 2 points in the available 18 as they finished bottom of the group.
Moroccan side RS Berkane thrashed Stada Malian 3-0 in Morocco to win the top spot in the group.
