CAF president Patrice Motsepe has arrived in Cameroon to participate at the 33rd edition of the Africa Cup of Nations.
The tournament is the first major African competition under the Motsepe administration since his election as CAF president.
“I will be in Cameroon on January 7, 2022 with my wife and my children for the CAN which begins on January 9th” Motsepe had said last month.
As promised at the end of his audience at the Cameroon Presidential Palace on December 21, the president of the African Football Confederation (CAF) has just landed in Douala.
The South African Patrice Motsepe is in Cameroon and will take part in the kick-off of CAN 2021 on Sunday as Cameroon takes on Burkina Faso.
