Young Africans have announced that all tickets for their upcoming CAF Confederation Cup (CAFCC) match against USM Alger on Sunday have been completely sold out.
The news was shared with the public through the club’s verified Instagram page on Saturday afternoon.
With all tickets sold, the highly anticipated first leg final of the CAF Confederation Cup will take place at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in front of a fully packed crowd. The stadium, which is the largest in the country, can accommodate up to 60,000 fans.
The ticket purchasing campaign was inaugurated by President Samia Suluhu Hassan, who herself acquired 5,000 tickets.
Following her lead, other stakeholders, institutions, and individuals joined in to secure their tickets for the match.
After the clash this afternoon, the two teams will meet again in Algeria for the second leg of the finals, where the victorious side will be awarded the prestigious CAF trophy.
