Black Galaxies midfielder David Sandan Abagna says the team has prepped very well for the crucial fixture against Sudan on Thursday night.
Ghana face Sudan in their second group game at the 2022 African Nations Championship knowing that anything but a win will likely rule them out of the rest of the tournament.
Ghana lost to Madagascar in the opening game in Group C but Abagna, who was involved in the loss, believes the team is well-focused on Thursday’s fixture and knows what to do to stay in the competition.
“It’s difficult to say specifically what our plans are but we have prepared and mentally we are focused,” he said.
“We know it will be a difficult game and we know what will happen if we don’t win. We want to win and stay in the competition. And this is enough to motivate us to go into the game and secure a win.”
Ghana’s game against Sudan kicks off at 7PM.
