Danny Senda, a coach for Charlton’s U-21 team has showered praises on Jojo Wollacott after the goalkeeper made a return from injury against Bournemouth.
The shot-stopper suffered a finger injury before the team’s clash against Burton Albion. Hence he missed the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The goalkeeper has now returned to action after a 2-1 win over Bournemouth at youth level .
Speaking after the game, Senda, said: “Jojo had a really, really calming influence behind the back three.
“He made really good decisions and that enabled us to take control of the game with his ability to build. He pulled off a really good, point-blank save for us midway through the second half, which was a critical moment in the game.”
