Yussif Chibsah the representative of Gladson Awako has expressed his gratitude to the management of Hearts of Oak for their unflinching support and patience towards his client following the recent health issue of the former TP Mazembe playmaker.
Awako’s move from Great Olympics to the current Ghana champions back in August counted for one of the biggest transfer deals ahead of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season but the player – mentally unfit – would miss the club’s CAF Champions League opener against Guinea’s CI Kamsar ( a one-off game played and won by Hearts of Oak in Accra by 2-0).
“I take this opportunity to thank Hearts of Oak management for their patience and support given to Awako. They have been very supportive since the issue started.” Chibsah said on Ashh FM.
“Not many teams would have exercised such patience like they have done. We thank them a lot and hopefully by next week the player will start training again.” he added.
