American Major League Soccer side Chicago Fire have parted ways with Ghanaian defender Johan Kappelhof after six years together.
Fire are bringing in much younger players and did not extend the contract if the 30-year-old central defender who has been with them since 2016.
Kappelhof played a total of 147 games and provided five assists during his stay with Chicago Fire and was a dominant figure in their defence.
