Ghana’s forward Christopher Antwi-Adjei grabbed the winner for VFL Bochum in the German Bundesliga on Saturday afternoon away at FC Augsburg.
This was his second goal of the season for the struggling Bundesliga team as his side secured a surprise win over difficult to beat side Augsburg on the road.
The Ghana International played 73 minutes of the match and was able to help his side secure all three points in their fight to stay up in the German top-flight.
He found the back of the net when his right-footed shot from the center of the box went straight into the center of the goal to win it for his team who scored their second consecutive win of the season for the first time.
Antwi-Adjei also scored for Bochum in their last Bundesliga game when they beat Borussia Münchengladbach 2-1 at home last Tuesday.
The 28-year-old Ghanaian forward has two goals and two assists in 10 matches this campaign for his team in the Bundesliga.
