English born Ghanaian attacker Claudio Ofosu has been named as the Hartlepool United Community player of the year.
The award is specially by the fans for the player who devotes time for the community and also help them in various programs.
“Since the moment Claudio Ofosu arrived we’ve been impressed by his positivity and commitment to promoting equality and mental health issues including a visit to a Hartlepool school. Thanks to DC for accepting on his behalf.” A statement from the community read.
Ofosu is expected to be handed a new deal with his current contract set to expire on June 30.
