In a heartfelt gesture, Berekum Chelsea’s strategist, Samuel Boadu, extends an apology to the club’s loyal supporters following their recent loss to Hearts of Oak during matchday 29 of the Ghana Premier League.
The Phobians demonstrated their prowess at the Golden City Park, securing a convincing victory on Wednesday afternoon.
Before this encounter, Hearts of Oak had faced a dry spell, going six matches without clinching a win. However, goals from Hamzah Issah, Linda Mtange, and Kasim Cisse reignited the spirits of the Ghanaian giants, propelling them to a crucial away triumph.
Expressing remorse after the match, Boadu conveyed his apologies to the fans for the substantial defeat against his former team, emphasizing their steadfast support.
“We are sorry for the defeat. We know they are behind us but I will urge them to keep supporting us. We will not disappoint them in our game against Kotoko” he said after the game.
