Ghana’s U-20 Women’s team Black Princesses, has convened in Cape Coast to commence their training camp ahead of the 13th African Games.
Led by coach Yussif Basigi, the squad features standout players including Abdulai Mukarama and Stella Nyamekye from Hasaacas Ladies, among others.
The team’s focus is squarely on their opening fixture against Ethiopia scheduled for March 9th at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium. Following this, they will contend with Tanzania and Uganda in Group A encounters.
Scheduled from March 8-23, 2024, the African Games serve as a prestigious platform for athletes from across the continent to showcase their talents across various sporting disciplines.
Bolstered by their recent qualification for the 2024 U-20 Women’s World Cup, the Black Princesses are determined to leave a mark at the African Games, further adding to their rich history of excellence.
