Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko have officially announced the signing of Sampson Eduku on a one-and-a-half-year deal.
The 29-year-old forward, who previously featured for Karela United, Samartex FC, and Tamale City, shared his excitement about joining the Porcupine Warriors.
Speaking about the move, Eduku said: “It feels amazing to join a club as big as Kotoko. This is a massive step in my career, and I’m fully aware of the expectations that come with playing for this great club.”
The prolific striker, who netted 14 goals in the 2022/23 season, is eager to compete with teammates Albert Amoah and Kwame Opoku.
“Competing with talented players like Albert Amoah and Kwame Opoku will only push me to be better,” Eduku added. “I relish the competition, and I’m ready to give my best for this great club.”
Eduku’s arrival is expected to bolster Kotoko’s attack as they chase the Ghana Premier League title this season.
