The former Accra Lions talent will train with Norrköping’s first team over the next two weeks, showcasing his skills in hopes of earning a contract.
Salifu, renowned for his speed and trickery on the flanks, caught the attention of the Swedish outfit following his impressive displays for the Ghanaian club. Despite a brief stint with Accra Lions, the 18-year-old has demonstrated remarkable potential, prompting the trial invitation from Norrköping.
The Swedish Allsvenskan has become a proven platform for nurturing Ghanaian talent, with players like Michael Baidoo, Jalil Abdulai, and Emmanuel Boateng thriving in the league before progressing to higher levels.
