The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially announced the schedule for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, which will be hosted by the Kingdom of Morocco.
During a virtual meeting on June 21, 2024, the CAF Executive Committee finalized the dates for this highly anticipated event. The tournament is set to begin on December 21, 2025, and will run until January 18, 2026.
This major sporting event will showcase the top national football teams from across Africa, highlighting the continent’s elite talent.
In preparation for the tournament, CAF has also scheduled the qualifiers’ draw for July 4, 2025, in Johannesburg, South Africa. The draw, which will take place at 13:30 GMT, is a critical step in the lead-up to the competition.
With the dates confirmed, both teams and fans can look forward to an exciting and memorable Africa Cup of Nations. Morocco, as the host country, is expected to deliver a world-class event that will enthrall the African football community.
