Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Richmond Ayi is encouraging the club’s fans to maintain their faith and support the team despite a challenging start to the season.
Ayi remains confident that the team will overcome their current difficulties and achieve significant success, even though their performance has not met their high standards.
Hearts of Oak has only managed to secure one victory in six games, which falls below their usual performance levels. After narrowly avoiding relegation last season, the team has only scored two goals and currently finds itself in the relegation zone.
Ayi was in goal during their recent draw against Bibiani Goldstars and, looking ahead to their upcoming match against champions Medeama on Wednesday, expressed optimism, stating, “It’s not over yet. I will plead with the fans to continue supporting, and we will make them proud.”
Ayi’s words mirror the team’s determination to turn their season around and demonstrate their capability to achieve better results in the future.
