Ghanaian forward Clemente Awounyo has joined Croatian club HNK Vukovar 1991 on a long-term contract, the club has announced.
The 23-year-old completed the transfer to the Croatian third-tier team on Saturday after passing his medical examination and subsequently putting pen to paper.
Awounyo joins Vukovar from Ghanaian Division One side Kotoku Royals FC for an undisclosed amount.
The talented attacker’s move to Croatia happened right after Kotoku Royals and Vukovar have signed a partnership agreement.
Awounyo was training with the Ghana U23 national team before departing to the Southeastern European country to continue his development.
He has been outstanding in the Ghanaian second-tier competition this season with the Akim Oda based club.
